Sikles Trek : 10 days

Sikles trek is special organic cultural trek. Nepal Gandharba Chuli trek Pvt. Ltd organize this organic trek for you. We are going to promote this especial trek area is very close to the Annapurna trekking trails. It lies north-east of Pokhara. Very few lodges and guest houses are available on the route. Therefore, it is not difficult to understand that we set up a camp for overnight stay. The beautiful village of Sikles is on the brink of a hummock at the height of 2000m.

It is stunning Gurung village. The narrow lanes of this village are edged by the stones and mud houses. The houses are grouped in the traditional ribbon pattern. This village is surrounded by six other beautiful villages. They are Lama-thar, Sabha-thar, Harpu-thar, Dhaprang-thar, Koi-thar and Gari-thar. These villages have their own role in the local community. Although this trek is relatively slow, yet it offers enough time to study about the flora and fauna available in this region. You can see some splendid views of the mountain on the route.

Sikles Trek of main attraction point is Gurung culture/organic culture. As well main is ice lake which is 2440 m . This is known as very low height of lake in Nepal.  And the another important view point is Tara Hill top. You don't have to miss this beautiful hill in your trip. You can see the Annapurna range from that view point directly. As well you can touch the lake of panoramic view. This is the great adventures wilderness trek too. 

Especially this place has not available any hotel you will get only homestay available. 

Outline Itinerary

Day 1  : Kathmandu-Pokhara

Day 2 : Pokhara-Yangjakot

Day 3 : Yangjakot-Tangting

Day 4 : Tangting- Sikles

Day 5 : Sikles leaving(Local walking/Local culture/Little hike)

Day 6 : Sikles-Hugu (Local Sightseeing)-6 hours

Day 7 : Hugu leaving (Virgin Ice lake) and back to Hugu / 2 hours

Day 8 : Hugu-Sikles / 6 hours

Day 9 : Sikles-Tara hill top-Ghale Kharka /7 hours

Day 10  : Ghalekharka- Pokhara / 2 hours and 1 hour drive
